Michael Vincent Lewandowski, age 13, of North Charleston, departed this life at home in the comforting arms of his family on Thursday August 11th 2005 after a courageous 8-year battle with cancer, a battle his love outlasts and his spirit survives. 
4th Annual Ice Palace Charity Golf Tournament
On June 9, 2006, a bunch of adult hockey players and their friends are going to be hosting a golf tournament at Legend Oaks in honor of Michael.
All proceeds from this event will be donated to The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center - two leading research facilities in the fight against pediatric cancer. We are asking for your help. Anything you can do to help us and Michael's family fight cancer will be greatly appreciated.
